Eddy Onazi made his first - ever appearance in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night as hosts Lazio narrowly defeated Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen 1 - 0 in their play - offs first leg match.
With the scoreline goalless, the Nigeria international made way for Milinkovi�-Savi� in the 53rd minute at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
At the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, Ahmed Musa went the distance but fired blanks in CSKA Moscow’s 2 - 1 loss to Sporting Lisbon.
