Elderson Echiejile Named In Squad To Face Valencia
Published: August 25, 2015
Elderson Echiejile is among 20 players summoned by Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim for the UEFA Champions League play - offs second leg tie against Valencia at Stade Louis II on Tuesday night.
It would be interesting to see what decision Jardim would make tonight as France international Layvin Kurzawa also made the provisional squad list after missing last week’s tie.
In the Ligue 1, Elderson Echiejile is yet to make a single appearance for the Principality side after three rounds though he was an unused sub last weekend against Toulouse.
Monaco must score at least two goals against Valencia, without conceding, if they are to advance to the group stage of the Champions League.
