UEFA Champions League : Igiebor Starts For Maccabi Tel Aviv; Echiejile And Ambrose Make Bench
Published: August 25, 2015
Nigeria internationals Efe Ambrose and Elderson Echiejile will both start from the bench tonight in the Champions League.
Celtic defender Efe Ambrose will be hoping to add to the 1,966 minutes of game time he has racked up in the competition when the Scottish champions tackle Malmo at Swedbank Stadion.
On the other hand, Monaco left back Elderson Echiejile would play his 15th game in the Champions League if he hops off the bench against Valencia.
Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder Nosa Igiebor has been included in the starting line - up for the sixth time in the competition this season by manager Jokanovi after he was rested last weekend against Bnei Sakhnin.
The Israeli champions’ opponents, FC Basel , did not name Switzerland youth international Manuel Akanji on the team sheet.
