Exclusive : Aaron Samuel Extends Guangzhou R&F Contract

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Aaron Samuel has put pen to paper on a new deal with Guangzhou R&F, amid interest from clubs in Europe who had attempted to sign him in the summer transfer market.
In a bid to fend off the interest from European teams, especially from CSKA Moscow, Guangzhou R&F offered the Nigeria international a one - year contract extension that will keep him at the club until December 31, 2017.
Though the financial details of the new deal are not for public consumption, it is being speculated that Aaron Samuel is now the highest paid player at the Chinese club.
When he initially joined the club in July 2014, Samuel was to earn 650,000 euros per season excluding performance - related incentives.
In 31 outings for Guangzhou R&F in the Chinese Super League, the 21 - year - old has netted 15 goals.
