Uche Ihuarulam Slaps In Letter To Quit Lobi Stars
Published: August 26, 2015
Talented striker Uche Ihuarulam has written to Lobi Stars indicating he wants to quit the Nigeria Professional Football League outfit.
Ihuarulam joined the Pride of Benue as a free agent after he terminated his contract with Bayelsa United in 2014.
The young forward said that he hasn’t been well treated at the club prompting him to slap in a letter requesting to be released from his contract.
After impressing in the colours of Bayelsa United, the prolific striker was prized away from the grasp of the Restoration Boys by the former Nigerian champions to fortify their attack.
He did not disappoint as he quickly settled down and warmed his way into the hearts of the teeming fans of Lobi Stars. In the few matches he played, he justified the huge confidence reposed in him by the management and technical crew of the club.
After one year of romance, the goal poacher and his club are reportedly entangled in contractual disagreement that is threatening to degenerate into another contract row in the local league.
Traces of a strained relationship first emerged when Ihuarulam decided not to make himself available for matches again claiming broken promises and lack of respect for contractual terms by the management of the club.
