Gbolahan Salami Departs Super Eagles Camp On Thursday

Gbolahan Salami has been permitted by Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh to depart the Super Eagles camp in Abuja on Thursday morning in order to attempt to retrieve his international passport from the Norwegian embassy, the Warri Wolves striker has revealed.
The 24 - year - old claimed that an unnamed Norwegian club were interested in his signature but this website understands that the window in that part of Scandinavia closed for business on the 18th of August , meaning the proposed switch has collapsed.
“The coach has allowed me to leave the camp and I will be traveling to Lagos on Thursday morning, ” said Gbolahan Salami to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I applied for a Norwegian visa three - four weeks ago and I was told at the visa office it will be ready within two weeks.
“I don’t know if I will be able to retrieve it, I can’t return to camp without the passport.”
Gbolahan Salami opened scoring after 63 minutes in the Super Eagles 2 - 0 win over Chad in June.
