The Super Falcons have qualified for the semi - finals of the All - Africa Games on the back of their 3 - 0 thrashing of Tanzania on Wednesday evening.
Tanzania’s tormentor - in - chief was Guingamp star Desire Oparanozie , who scored more than one goal in the first half for the second game in a row at the All - Africa Games.
It was smooth sailing for the African champions and Belarusian - based Esther Sunday finally ended the game as a contest with the team’s third goal in the second half.
On Saturday, Nigeria will clash with Ivory Coast, who also have a 100 percent record in the competition.
According to official sources, Desire Oparanozie is the top scorer in Congo with five goals to her name, followed by Esther Sunday who has scored twice.
