Published: September 12, 2015
Super Eagles left back Juwon Oshaniwa was sent off for violent conduct on Friday in the Scottish Premier League after apparently clashing with Inverness CT midfielder Tobi Sho-Silva.
Four minutes from time, the Hearts defender was shown a straight red card by referee Steven McLean for scuffling with Sho-Silva on the goal line.
In truth, Oshaniwa’s disciplinary record has been far from being exemplary of late, having been yellow - carded in about half of the games he manged to play last season while defending the colours of MS Ashdod in Israel.
The former Sharks man has now featured in 62 games in the top flight since moving to Europe in 2012 and has been cautioned 16 times excluding his red card against Inverness CT.
Inverness CT won the game yesterday 2 - 0 courtesy of goals from James Vincent and Miles Storey .
