Godfrey Oboabona Pleased To Open Rizespor Account

Godfrey Oboabona was delighted to score his first goal for Rizespor this season in their 5 - 1 thrashing of Antalyaspor and has characteristically praised God for making it possible.
It may be early days in the season but Rizespor have showed promise, with 4 points separating them from pacesetters Fenerbahce and Oboabona is hopeful his side can maintain their momentum.

The Nigeria international defender won the individual contest between him and Antalyaspor’s Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o, restricting the Super Lig leading marksman to only a first half assist.

In their next fixture in the Super Lig, Rizespor are guests to Kenneth Omeruo’s Kasimpasa, but first tackle Ankara Adliyespor in the Cup on Wednesday.
