Official : Stephen Keshi Discovery Gabriel Okechukwu Joins Ukrainian Side Volyn Lutsk

Through a press release, Ukrainian Premier League side FC Volyn Lutsk have announced the acquisition of free agent Gabriel Okechukwu.
The 20 - year - old striker has put pen to paper on a nine - month contract which will keep him at The Crusaders until June 30, 2016.
A product of TEAP FC, Okechukwu made the substitutes bench in the Super Eagles 2 - 0 victory over Chad in an African Cup of Nations qualifier in June and was handed the famous number 10 jersey by ex coach Stephen Keshi.
He had been linked with several European teams in the past including Zenith St Petersburg, Kuban and Dynamo Kiev, and trained with Belgian club KV Mechelen in 2014.
Nigeria international midfielder Michael Babatunde turned out for Volyn Lutsk for two years before shifting to FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the summer transfer market.
