Turkish Super Lig October Best XI: Super Eagles duo Onuachu and Osimhen lead the attack

The Turkish Süper Lig Best XI for October prominently features a Nigerian strike partnership, with Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen leading the attack, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. 

Onuachu claimed the Player of the Month award after an impressive run of form, while Osimhen continued to assert himself as one of Turkey’s most dangerous forwards.

Onuachu delivered exceptional performances in October, scoring two goals and providing an assist in three league matches for Trabzonspor, where his towering presence and aerial prowess consistently unsettled opposing defences.

Osimhen, leading the line for Galatasaray, continues to set the benchmark for attacking excellence in the Süper Lig. 

He scored a brace in a Champions League match against Bodø/Glimt and added a league goal against Göztepe, combining pace, intelligent movement, and finishing ability. 

Together with Onuachu, they form a formidable Nigerian-led attack that posed a constant threat to defenders throughout October.

Their inclusion in the Best XI reflects not just goals and assists, but the tactical impact and consistency both players brought to their respective teams.

Looking ahead, Osimhen is expected to be named in Eric Chelle’s roster for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs against Gabon, while Onuachu’s recent form has put him firmly in contention for a call-up.
