Sunday Oliseh Gets Vote Of Confidence From Ahmed Musa
Published: October 12, 2015
Nigeria manager Sunday Oliseh has received a vote of confidence from his skipper and CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa.
Despite the national team’s emphatic 3 - 0 win over Cameroon on Sunday night, several stakeholders, especially the learned Nigerian fans, have openly questioned Oliseh’s suitability for the job plus his people management skills, but Musa has called on the supporters to be patient.
“I feel very happy working with him (Sunday Oliseh), he is a very simple guy. He wants you to meet him always when you don’t understand what he said, ” Ahmed Musa said in an interview published on YouTube by the NFF.
“I think with the way we are going the sky will be our limit. We know our country and what Nigerians always want but football is good sometimes and sometimes it is bad, but they have to understand we are building a new team.
“With a couple of games we are going to play, we have to get to know each other because of the new players in the team.”
It is assumed that the former JUTH and Kano Pillars star was recently appointed captain of the Super Eagles after Sunday Oliseh paid a visit to Vincent Enyeama in France and the Lille goalkeeper informed him of his plans to retire from football in the next two years.
