Published: October 12, 2015
KasımpaÅa defender Kenneth Omeruo is battling to be fit for his team’s Super Lig clash against Sivasspor on Sunday plus the Super Eagles World Cup qualifiers next month.
The Nigeria international has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since Monday, September 28, when he had to be substituted nine minutes into the contest against Godfrey Oboabona’s Rizespor.
It had earlier been claimed that the Chelsea loanee will be out of action for two weeks, but he did not train with the rest of his teammates last weekend and the club were silent on whether he has started individual training.
Omeruo’s intermediary previously told this website that he could spend up to one month on the treatment table.
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, had complained about the unavailability of the young defender for the friendlies against DRC and Cameroon.
