Dream Team Survive Scare At Ghana Airport, As Sokari Is Dropped From Squad

The Dream Team VI survived a scare at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra after the ARIK Air flight that brought the team from Lagos lost a tyre on landing.
According to thenff.com, another ARIK Air plane that was on ground in Ghana was ferrying the squad to Gambia but the pilot had to make a return to the airport after the plane lost an engine on take - off.
So, ARIK had to provide another aircraft that flew the delegation to the Gambia through the Senegalese capital, Dakar.
The Nigeria U23s are in Gambia for a 10 - day training camp ahead of the Africa U23 Cup of Nations billed to be staged in Senegal as from next weekend.
Enyimba trio Kingsley Sokari, Nzube Anaezemba and Daniel Etor have been dropped from the squad after they requested to leave the camp to go for their Club’s (Enyimba) last NPFL game of the season against Sunshine Stars in Lagos.
