Published: November 16, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that 33 -time Belgian champions R.S.C. Anderlecht have missed out on the signature of Nigeria Under 17 international Victor Osimhen.
Assuming the transfer materialized, the Ultimate Strikers poster boy would have followed in the footsteps of ex Golden Eaglets stars Philip Osondu and Celestine Babayaro, who both bagged a deal with the Brussels - based side after starring at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup.
Anderlecht were one of the first European teams to indicate their interest in Victor Osimhen after scoring three goals in his first two matches in Chile but have been priced out of a deal for the youngster, with his transfer fee said to be in the region of two million pounds.
The Pro League side faced competition from the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool for the 16 - year - old’s signature.
