Exclusive : Golden Eaglets Skipper Kelechi Nwakali Not Joining Arsenal
Published: November 16, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been specially informed that reports linking Golden Ball winner at the 2015 Fifa Under 17s Kelechi Nwakali, to Arsenal are incorrect.
Quotes credited to the Golden Eaglets number ten by the Nigerian press suggested that the central midfielder would prefer a move to The Emirates ahead of The Etihad, but those reports should be taken with a pinch of salt, according to one of his reps.
“The story is nonsense, it is fake news. It is not true he is joining Arsenal. People can only keep on speculating but the truth will soon be known, ” a source close to Kelechi Nwakali told allnigeriasoccer.com.
West Ham are amongst the Premier League teams interested in the signature of the ASJ Academy talent, while Manchester City have also been credited with an interest.
