Arsenal defender Tolaji Bola has set his sights on featuring for England’s Under 17 National Team in the next edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship to be hosted by Azerbaijan in May 2016.
The 16 - year - old reckons that he will make the roster for the Euros if he keeps producing brilliant performances for Arsenal’s Under 18 squad.
“Another area that’s good for my development is playing for England,” Tolaji Bola said to arsenal.com.
“It’s one of my targets for this season to play well enough for Arsenal to ensure I am selected for the under- 17s European Championships.
“I really enjoy tournament football because it teaches you so much more.”
In April, Bola, who models his game after Vincent Kompany, Laurent Koscielny and Eliaquim Mangala, assisted England U16s win the Montaign Tournament by beating France 3-1 in the final.
