DSS Proprietor Sunday Adeleye Charges NFF To Conduct Elections
Published: November 28, 2015
Proprietor of Nigerian National League side, Dynamic Sporting Solutions Football Club, Sunday Adeleye has charged the Nigeria Football Federation to conduct elections in earnest into the NNL board, following the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past board.
Speaking in Abuja during the NNL Super 4, Adeleye noted that it is imperative for elections to be conducted into the National League board, so that there can be a way forward for the league next season.
“The NFF will have to announce a date for the conduct of elections into the National League board, now that the tenure of the last board has expired.
“We shouldn’t stay too long with this vacuum because it will not be good for the league next season. We need to have a body in place as soon as possible that will run the affairs of the league for next season,” Adeleye said.
The Nigeria Football Federation had in a statement on Thursday announced the expiration of the tenures of the National League, the Nationwide League One and the Women’s league boards, meaning that the trio of Emeka Inyama, Ahmad Kawu and Dilichukwu Onyedinma are no longer members of the executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation.
