Samson Siasia Frustrated By Lack Of Concentration In The Second Half
Published: December 03, 2015
Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia has shared his thoughts and impressions on his side’s 2 - 2 draw with Egypt at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations on Wednesday night.
Once again, the Nigeria Under 23s conceded two goals in the second half for the second consecutive game in Senegal but this time they were lucky to get a share of the spoils.
“We did not play in the second half and we cannot continue like this, if we want to go to the Olympics. We have to be careful, ” Siasia told the official website of CAF.
“We tend to lose concentration in the second half and have to fix it. It was the case in the first game against Mali and the same thing happened against Egypt.
“It is no longer funny. It will be a tough battle against Algeria, and we have to be careful about the North African sides, they attack left and right.”
The Dream Team VI must beat Algeria in their final Group B fixture on Saturday to be certain of qualifying for the semi - finals of the tourney.
