Moses Simon, Dominic Solanke Bag Brace In Friendlies

Nigeria international Moses Simon helped himself to a second - half brace as Gent thrashed  Wurzburger 5 - 0 in a friendly on Friday.

The exciting winger, who was introduced at the start of the second half, put the Belgians 3 - 0 up in the 61st minute before grabbing his second of the game 13 minutes from time.

Gent new acquisition from Skënderbeu played the first 45 minutes of the game staged at  Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort, Valencia.

Also in Spain, Vitesse were involved in an exhibition game with Anderlecht. It ended 2 - 1 in favour of the Dutch team with England youth international Dominic Solanke netting in the 2nd and 63rd minutes.

In their first competitive fixture in 2016, Vitesse travel to Leeuwarden on January 16 for a meeting with Bartholomew Ogbeche’s SC Cambuur .
