Fenerbahce Coach Deflects Question About Possible Departure Of Emenike To West Ham
Published: January 28, 2016
Fenerbahçe SK manager, Vítor Pereira, has deflected questions about the possibility of Emmanuel Emenike departing the Istanbul side before the close of the January transfer window.
Speaking after the Turkish Cup clash between the Yellow Canaries and Antalyaspor on Wednesday, the Portuguese coach insisted that he’ll only comment on the game.
“I want to talk now only about the match,” said Vítor Pereira.
Emenike is not in the plans of coach Vítor Pereira for the 2015-16 season and was farmed out on loan to Al Ain last summer.
West Ham are believed to be in pole position to sign the former Nigeria international ahead of fellow Londoners Crystal Palace, with the player set to undergo a medical with the Hammers in the coming days.
