Published: January 28, 2016
Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II Tilburg are pleased to complete the transfer of Bartholomew Ogbeche after the striker passed a medical examination on Wednesday afternoon.
The Nigeria international will not be counted as a foreigner as he is in the possession of a French passport, having spent six years in France defending the colours of Paris Saint-Germain, Bastia and Metz.
“Bartholomew is a very important asset to us. We are extremely happy that we were able to capture him. We expect that he will be of great value in the attack of William II , ” technical manager Carlos Aalbers said.
The ex-SC Cambuur star will start training with his new teammates on Wednesday and could make his competitive debut on Friday in the Eredivisie against Heracles.
For the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign, Ogbeche will suit up with the number 16 shirt.
