We start off at the Mini Estadi (Barcelona), venue of the meeting between Barcelona and Danish side Midtjylland. Despite opening scoring in the 34th minute, the Danish side lost 3-1 after conceding all the goals in the second half.

Ogochukwu Onyeka Frank was on the bench for the entirety of the contest for the Wolves.  He assisted FCM see off another Spanish opposition Atletico Madrid in the playoffs.

Defending champions Chelsea beat Valencia on penalties after regulation time ended one goal apiece. Ola Aina and Fikayo Tomori worked a 90-minute shift in defense for the Londoners while Ike Ugbo did not make the squad.

Manchester City rising star Tosin Adarabioyo, who was brilliant against Chelsea in the FA Cup last weekend, was in action for 90 minutes as the Under 19s were beaten 3-1 by Real Madrid at Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano.

Ashinme Kigbu, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Nathanial Oseni did not make City’s squad for this one.

On Wednesday, Sadiq Umar, Nura Abdullahi will be hoping to be in the lineup in Roma’s tie with PSV at Sportcomplex De Herdgang.
