Premier League-Bound Ahmed Musa Will Not Reject CSKA Moscow In The Future
Published: April 15, 2016
CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa has dropped a big hint that he will soon depart the Russian Premier League powerhouse.
The Nigeria international was heavily courted by EPL leading Leicester City in the January transfer window but the Muscovites failed to sanction the move, stating that they did not not want to lose one of their important players in the middle of the season.
“CSKA became my home, I am very happy that I went to this club. It is thanks to CSKA I became a footballer who I am now.
“I thank all the players, coaches and fans for their warm support and for what they have done for me.
“And if I ever have the chance to go back in the future, I’m happy to do it,” said Musa to sport-express.ru.
The 23-year-old Ahmed Musa joined the Army Men from VVV Venlo in Holland in January 2012.
