Manchester City Loanee Nwakali Named To Nigeria U23s Provisional Roster For Olympic Games

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Manchester City loanee Chidiebere Nwakali could figure for the Dream Team VI at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The central midfielder has been included by Samson Siasia in his 60-man provisional squad for the tournament which begins in August.
Nwakali is not the only player in the Golden Eaglets class of 2013 that made the provisional roster, as it is confirmed that Kelechi Iheanacho(Man City), Taiwo Awoniyi(FSV Frankfurt),Saviour Godwin(KV Oostende) and Aliyu Abubakar(KuPS) have been selected.
The 19-year-old’s impressive display for IK Start in Norway played a crucial role in his inclusion in the provisional roster.
Chidiebere Nwakali featured in every single game played by the Nigeria U17s during the Fifa Under 17 World Cup in the UAE and was part of the Flying Eagles squad at the 2015 Fifa Under 20s in New Zealand.
