Ex-Manchester United young star Nicky Ajose netted two of the goals scored by Swindon Town in their 3-0 win against Shrewsbury Town. The prolific striker opened scoring in the 45th minute before bagging his brace three minutes out of intermission.
Ajose and strike partner Jonathan Obika played the entirety of the game at County Ground.
Reece Wabara was named on the bench as champions Wigan Athletic suffered a 4-1 loss to Barnsley at the DW Stadium. He was introduced in the 46th minute.
