Oke Akpoveta Scores In Sixth Straight Game; Rilwan Hassan Shines In Midtjylland Win

Former Warri Wolves striker Oke Akpoveta continued his impressive performance for IK Frej Taeby in the Swedish Superettan after scoring in the division for the sixth straight game in their 2-2 draw with Ljungskile on Wednesday.
Akpoveta’s 70th minute goal was his sixth goal in the last one month or so and cemented his position as the leading scorer in the Swedish second-tier.
The Lyngby loanee, who played the full game at the Uddevalla Arena, set up IK Frej’s first goal in the seventh minute.
Still in Scandinavia, Rilwan Hassan got back to scoring ways and notched a helper as FC Midtjylland thrashed Hobro IK 4-1 in the Danish Superliga.
The FC Ebedei product has averaged 0.5 goals per game in his last 10 matches for the champions.
