Nigerian Exports : Odubajo Clocks Up 90 Minutes, Akpom Benched As Hull City Advance; Ideye Loses Cup Final; Chrisantus Absent For AEK Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the European Leagues plus Cup on Tuesday.

Hull City advanced to the Championship play-off Final despite losing 2-0 to Derby County at the KC Stadium. The Tigers had won the Semi-final, Game 1 3-0.

Moses Odubajo and England youth international Chuba Akpom were named in Hull City’s 18-man squad , but the Arsenal loanee remained on the bench while the wing-back played the entirety of the game and picked up a booking in the 50th minute.

Nigeria international Sone Aluko did not make the match day squad. It would have been his 32nd appearance of the season in all competitions if he had featured.

In Greece, Olympiakos were beaten 2-1 by AEK Athens behind closed doors in the final of the Greek Cup.

Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye entered the fray in the 53rd minute. Former Golden Eaglets sensation Macauley Chrisantus remains out of favour at The Yellow-Blacks and was not involved in the showpiece game.
