Fenerbahce Weighing Up Move For Nigeria Defender Efe Ambrose
Published: May 22, 2016
Nigeria international Efe Ambrose could bid farewell to Scottish champions Celtic this summer if transfer reports are anything to go by.
The highly reputable British newspaper, Sunday Post, has reported that Fenerbahce are looking to add the defensive all-rounder to their roster next season.
The Yellow Canaries are in the market for a defender with the future of Portugal international Bruno Alves up in the air.
Newly appointed manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to embark on a restructuring exercise given the bloated staff he inherited from Norwegian gaffer Ronny Deila and may sanction the sale of Efe Ambrose to fund acquisitions.
Ambrose, who has been on the books of Celtic since 2012, will enter the final twelve months of his contract with The Bhoys in June.
