CSKA Moscow Confirm No Talks Have Taken Place Over Extension Of Aaron Samuel Contract
Published: May 22, 2016
Director General of CSKA Roman Babayev has confirmed that the club will have to hold talks with the intermediary handling the affairs of Aaron Samuel before commenting on his transfer situation.
The Super Eagles frontman has not kicked a ball since he damaged knee ligaments in the Russian Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg and the leadership of the Army Men has stated that he will undergo surgery on June 2.
“Before we comment on something we have to meet with his agent, and Olanare should have surgery. The operation is scheduled for June 2, and will be held in Germany,” said Babayev to championat.com.
“In the diagnosis of MRI, we see that he damaged anterior cruciate ligament. But the degree of trauma and recovery time will become clear only after surgery. ”
Samuel will be heading back to Guangzhou R&F in China after surgery if his contract is not extended by the Russian champs.
