Two Players Of Nigerian Descent Heading To France With England For Euros

Two players of Nigerian descent are set to feature for England at the 2016 European Championship, with manager Roy Hodgson naming both in the 23-man roster for the tournament in France.
Midfielders Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) and Ross Barkley (Everton) were named in the 26-player provisional squad and their seats on the plane to France were confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
The English FA has confirmed that Alli will suit up with the number 20 jersey while Barkley will play with the number 19 kit during the tournament.
While this is the Spurs midfielder first major tournament for the Three Lions, the Everton star represented the national team at the 2014 World Cup, playing in group games against Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
