West Ham Remain In Pole Position For Agor, As Club Supremo Dismisses Sporting Lisbon Link
Published: June 20, 2016
CEO of ASJ Academy Emeka Amajiriaku has dismissed speculation linking his player Agor Chukwudi with a move to Sporting Clube de Portugal, stressing that he has had no contact with the Portuguese setup with respect to a transfer.
For now, West Ham remain the likely destination of the Nigeria U20 international and the club supremo has revealed that they are still locked in talks with the Hammers over a move.
“We have no offer from Sporting Lisbon, they have not contacted us directly. The club will have to call me officially if they are interested, ”said Amajiriaku to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The interest from West Ham is concrete and we are still negotiating with the club. ”
It has been claimed by another intermediary who doesn’t represent Agor that Tottenham Hotspur are exploring ways to sign the defensive midfielder, but his bonafide agent, Allwell Nwakali, says he will visit White Hart Lane in the near future to confirm whether they are really interested.
West Ham have already tabled a 200,000 euros bid for the Flying Eagles star.
