Mikel Has First Training Session With Nigeria U23s
Published: June 20, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Porto midfielder Mikel Agu will have his first training session with Nigeria’s Olympic National Team on Monday morning.
Having arrived camp on Sunday evening from Lagos, it is a hundred percent confirmed that the 23-year-old was one of the players that left the team’s hotel this morning for a workout scheduled to take place at the practice pitch of the National Stadium.
You can rightly call this another round of trials for Mikel because he is not one of the players penciled down for the trip to the Atlanta, United States, based on the pronouncement of coach Samson Siasia.
He spent last season on loan at Club Brugge but could only manage two appearances in the league due to injury.
