CS Sfaxien Striker Junior Ajayi Hits Nigeria U23s Camp
Published: June 25, 2016
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, the players in the Nigeria U23s camp continue to swell with the arrival of CS Sfaxien frontman Junior Ajayi.
The former Shooting Stars ace was first sighted at the team hotel of the Dream Team VI on Friday, June 24.
However, Ajayi was not involved in the squad’s 4-3 loss to the Flying Eagles on Saturday morning, bearing in mind that coach Samson Siasia could not ascertain his fitness as there was no training session yesterday.
At this point in time, the players have been told that they will not train on Sunday, meaning Ajayi will take part in his first workout on Monday.
CS Sfaxien have permitted their Nigerian striker to represent his country at the Games if he makes the 18-man roster.
