Two Nigerian Strikers Sign New Deals With Southampton

Two-highly rated Nigerian teenagers, Jonathan Afolabi and Michael Obafemi, have signed scholarship deals with English Premier League club Southampton, writes the official website.
The two strikers were part of the thirteen youngsters that penned two-year professional scholarships with the Saints.
Michael Obafemi was born July 6, 2000 and has represented his county before in athletics in the one hundred meters, while Afolabi is 16 years.
Jonathan Afolabi has a Republic of Ireland passport and represented their U16s team at the 2015 Victory Shield Tournament.
Both players will play for Southampton’s Under-18s squad in the 2016-2017 campaign.
