Italian Club Spezia Make Move For Dream Team Defender Maigini
Published: July 03, 2016
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, ex-Dream Team VI trainee Tahir Maigini is attracting interest from Italian Serie B club Spezia Calcio.
The Little Eagles will run the rule over the defender, with a view to offering him a contract at the end of trials.
Tahir Maigini was on the brink of penning a contract with Rijeka last term, but the move fell through when he became ill during pre-season training with the Croatian team.
The Football College Abuja product will train with Spezia along with teammate Suleiman Abdullahi, and both will be hoping to join David Okereke on the books of the team from Liguria.
It is understood that former Golden Eaglets stars Orji Okonkwo and Amos Benjamin are also on the radar of Spezia.
