Former Golden Eaglets Targets Ejaria, Adekanye To Train In Germany With Liverpool
Published: July 05, 2016
Two former Golden Eaglets targets Ovie Ejaria and Bobby Adekanye will fly to Germany early next week with the Liverpool U18s and U21s squads to continue their pre-season schedule.
The young Reds will spend 12 days in Germany and will face Sonnerhoff and Erzgebirge in scrimmages, before returning to the United Kingdom for a high-profile clash against Celtic U21s.
Ejaria, 18, is considered one of the top prospects at Liverpool, and represented their U18s and U21s teams during the 2015-2016 campaign.
The former Arsenal talent trained with the Nigeria U17s in the summer of 2013, but had to return to London for pre-season training with the Gunners, so missed out on the World Cup squad.
Ex-Barcelona and Ajax wonderkid Bobby Adekanye is in tiptop condition and is set to explode in the forthcoming season if he does not suffer an injury setback.
The Nigerian-born winger was on the radar of Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke prior to the 2015 Fifa U17s World Cup.
