Agent Plays Down Reports Linking Musa Mohammed With Celtic Move
Published: July 06, 2016
Musa Mohammed’s intermediary, Adams Mohammed, has played down speculation linking the former Golden Eaglets skipper with a transfer to Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, or in other words there is nothing concrete.
It was first claimed by local media that the agent that brokered the deal that took Efe Ambrose to G40 3RE (thought to be Israeli agent Dudu Dahan) has proposed the right back to the same club.
“There is nothing official, it is just speculation. It is true that Celtic are interested but it will take time for the new coach to decide if they want to sign him, ” said agent Adam Mohammed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Musa Mohammed, 19, is contracted to Turkish club Basaksehir until the end of the 2017-2018 season.
He has been named to Nigeria’s 35-man provisional roster for the 2016 Olympic Games.
