Ex-Super Eagles Star Yakubu Aiyegbeni Training With English Fifth-Tier Club Boreham Wood

National League side Boreham Wood FC have started running the rule over former Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni, with a view to offering him a contract.
The coaching staff will observe the striker at close quarters on Saturday afternoon when the Wood face Reading in a pre-season fixture.
Now 33, Aiyegbeni last represented Kayserispor in Turkey and has also had spells with clubs in Qatar, China, Israel and Portugal.
A well-known figure in English football, the Okomu Oil product has represented Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers and Reading in the past.
Boreham Wood are a fifth-tier club in England based in Hertfordshire.
