Incompetent Nigeria U17s Media Officer Abodunrin Sends Out Another Inaccurate Press Release
Published: July 25, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com can reiterate that Charlton Athletic netminder Edward Ogbebor-Onaiwu was invited to train with the Golden Eaglets in Abuja, contrary to a press release sent to media houses by Nigeria U17s Media Officer, Morakinyo Abodunrin.
This is not the first time that the incompetent media officer will email an inaccurate press release to his employers, Nigeria Football Federation, and media outlets.
Only last month, Morakinyo Abodunrin reported that respected Norwegian-Nigerian agent Atta Aneke was asking aspiring Golden Eaglets players to pay for spots in the national team and this turned out to be false.
The NFF were forced to publish a retraction, otherwise they would have been taken to court for defamation of character.
Ogbebor-Onaiwu, 15, was due to undergo trials with a couple of teams in England but had to postpone those tests when he was invited to train with the Nigeria U17s by one of the Golden Eaglets assistant coaches.
This website is in possession of documentary evidence, proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the teenager did not gatecrash the Golden Eaglets screening.
He feels he is being maltreated by Manu Garba and his media team, led by Abodunrin , and has been advised to return to his country of birth, England, immediately by his camp.
