Exclusive : Nigeria U23s Striker Umar Aminu Reveals He Will Not Play Against JapanDream Team VI manager Samson Siasia will have only five outfield players on the substitutes bench in his side’s opener against Japan on Thursday, with Osmanlıspor frontman Umar Aminu revealing that he will miss the game.

The Super Eagles rising star will be on duty for the Turkish Super Lig club tomorrow evening when they tackle Nõmme Kalju in Estonia in the Europa League Third qualifying round, Game 2.

“I will be joining the Olympic team very soon, we have a game to play tomorrow so I will come after the game, ” said Umar Aminu to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“We need everybody, my club have approved for me to join the Dream Team immediately after the qualifier. ”

The 21-year-old Umar was part of the Nigeria U23s squad at the African Games in September 2015, but did not feature at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations because Osmanlıspor did not release him to the Nigerian Federation.

He netted a hat-trick against Zimbru in the Europa League on July 21.
