England Rising Star Dele Alli Looks Ahead To Inter Milan Clash
Published: August 05, 2016
Dele Alli is looking forward to getting some game time under his belt when Tottenham Hotspur tackle Inter Milan in a pre-season fixture at the Ullevaal Stadion (Oslo) on Friday evening.
The attacking midfielder was given an extended vacation after representing England at the 2016 European Championship, thus was not involved in Spurs’ losses to Juventus and Atlético Madrid in the International Champions Cup late last month.
“It’s important to get this game in and get as many minutes under our belts as we can especially as a few of us haven’t played yet,” Alli told the official website of the White Hart Lane outfit.
“It will be good to blow away some cobwebs. I feel good though. I’ve done a lot of fitness work and it will be great to get out there again.
“It will be a tough test but we want that, to challenge ourselves against one of the best teams in Europe.”
Last season, the former Milton Keynes Dons starlet appeared 33 times in the Premier League, scoring 10 goals and logging 2,482 minutes.
