It is all but confirmed that Super Eagles vice-captain Ahmed Musa will make his competitive debut for Leicester City when they clash with Manchester United in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday.
There had been doubts regarding the availability of the former CSKA Moscow frontman for the traditional season-opener but there is good news from the United Kingdom.
“Ahmed Musa received his work permit yesterday. He traveled to London with Leicester City today and will be in the squad for tomorrow, ” a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Musa, 23, joined the Premier League champs on a four-year deal in July for a fee thought to be in the region of 16 million pounds.
The Foxes record acquisition could make his Premier League debut next weekend against Hull City at the KC Stadium.
