Watford striker Ogo Obi was on target as the Development squad thrashed Millwall 3-0 in a pre-season friendly staged at UCL on Monday.
Coach Harry Kewell omitted Ola Adeyemo and Obi from his starting XI, but they both came off the bench in the 60th and 70th minute respectively.
Ogo Obi scored the third goal from close-range in the closing minutes , after Matej Vydra had fired the Hornets ahead and Alex Jakubiak had doubled the tally.
Last season, he assisted Watford U18s claim top-spot in the Professional Development League 2 South, by scoring eight goals.
The teenager, who has been hailed as the “Nigerian Messi”, penned a three-year deal, including scholarship forms and a pro deal, with the Vicarage Stadium outfit in 2014, and has not made his competitive debut for the first team.
