Colombia Skipper , Gutierrez : We Faced And Beat A Great Team, Nigeria

Colombia striker Teo Gutierrez has acknowledged that they overcame strong opponents before qualifying for the quarterfinals of the 2016 Olympic Games on Thursday morning.
The Sporting Clube de Portugal striker opened scoring after only four minutes against Nigeria, before Dorlan Pabon ensured victory by converting his spot kick in the 63rd minute.
“ ( Brazil ) is a respected rival. We are in the Olympics and think the Olympics. We faced and beat a great team (Nigeria ) . Now is rest. It’s a knockout, ” Gutierrez told reporters.
“We will face every team with respect and humility, but Colombia has grown in the world in all aspects and has shown it on the field.”
Nigeria had already secured first place in Group B before their meeting with Colombia.
