Chelsea Star Mikel Delighted Nigeria Are Two Steps Away From Gold

John Obi Mikel has expressed his happiness through social media after Nigeria qualified for the semifinals of the Olympic Games for the third time in their history on Saturday night.
The Chelsea star netted his first-ever goal at the Olympics in the 15th minute, latching on to a cutback by Imoh Ezekiel, before Umar Aminu scored an insurance goal in the second half, as the Samson Siasia-led side beat Denmark 2-0.
“#Rio2016 SEMI FINALS HERE WE COME ð��³ð��¬ ð��³ð��¬ ð��³ð��¬#DreamTeamVI, ” Mikel posted on Twitter.
For the second game in a row at the Olympics, the Nigeria number ten was in action for ninety minutes.
Nigeria will attempt to qualify for the showpiece game when they face Germany at the Corinthians Arena, Sao Paulo on Wednesday.
