Germany U23 Defender Warns Teammates : Nigeria Will Push Us All To The Limit
Published: August 16, 2016
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim defender Jeremy Toljan has been previewing the upcoming meeting between Nigeria and Germany at the Olympic Games.
The 22-year-old is aware that the Germans will be up against very physical opponents on Wednesday, but has total faith in his team and does not expect Nigeria to beat them.
“We will analyse our opponents and adjust accordingly in training for Nigeria, ” Toljan told dfb.de.
“We are coming up against a physically strong and quick side, one that will push us all to the limit.
“But as I said, if we go into the game and turn up fully concentrated, we only make ourselves harder to beat.”
The German U23 squad have already arrived in São Paulo, and are in the same Bourbon Convention Hotel with the Dream Team.
