Umar Aminu Focused On Semifinal Clash Against Germany
Published: August 16, 2016
Osmanlıspor striker Umar Aminu was delighted to score his first goal at the Olympic Games against Denmark last weekend.
Though he has refused to comment on the chances of Nigeria progressing to the final, the former Flying Eagles star is focused and expected to play a big part against the Germans on Wednesday, with Oghenekaro Etebo set to miss the tie due to a hamstring complaint.
“I am dedicating my goal against Denmark to my God in heaven , ” says Umar Aminu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Regarding the semifinal against Germany, I don’t talk or predict the outcome of a game before it is played. ”
Aminu has started two games at Rio 2016, against Colombia and Denmark, while he was a substitute against Sweden in Nigeria’s second Group B fixture.
