Chelsea Defender Omeruo Demands 0.7 Million Euros Yearly Wages From Interested Clubs
Published: August 30, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is demanding an annual salary of 700,000 euros from the clubs interested in his signature before penning a contract.
With the summer transfer window set to close for business this week, the future of the Nigeria international is still covered in mist, and it has now come to light that interested clubs have been unable to meet his wage demands.
Today an unnamed Spanish club interested in signing Kenneth Omeruo on loan made an offer of €400,000 per annum, but it was rejected by the defender’s adviser, Chika Akujobi.
The Dutch-based intermediary has claimed that he has several offers on the table he is mulling over, and a club have offered to pay his client €650,000 per season.
Kenneth Omeruo has not been up to scratch in the eyes of the Chelsea coaches since he arrived the club in 2012, and has been farmed out on loan to ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasımpaa.
