Odion Admits Man City Striker Iheanacho Is Far Better Than Watford Starlet Success
Published: September 20, 2016
Isaac Success’s elder brother, Rijeka striker Odion Ajayi, has tipped the Watford starlet to take the Premier League by storm in his debut season in England, but admitted that City’s Kelechi Iheanacho is miles ahead of the former Granada man.
Only last weekend, Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly was a laughing stock of most pundits after Success bullied him off the ball in the build up to the penalty earned by the Hornets in their 3-1 win over Manchester United.
“Success is a beast, he is just getting better and better and I know he is the next big thing. Watch out, ” said Odion Ajayi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I can’t say for now how many goals he will score this season, he has not forced his way into Watford starting line-up but he will score eventually.
“Comparing him to Iheanacho, Iheanacho is better (striker) for sure. ”
Turning a blind eye to the last statement made by Odion Ajayi, Success was undoubtedly the biggest star of the Golden Eaglets class of 2013 but an injury picked up ended his appearances at the tourney in UAE, paving the way for Iheanacho to win the best player award.
Two years later, the BJ Foundation product outshone the Manchester City teenager at the Fifa U20 World Cup, but what is not open to debate now is that Iheanacho has developed faster than Success, statistically speaking.
